The pond fountain is possibly one of the most soothing visual delights known to man. Most people love the sound and sight of water. Not only do fountains aerate the water, add charm and peaceful, relaxing sound to a garden, but the moving water attracts birds and butterflies.
 
The addition of a fountain requires a little thought with regard to things like: the height and width of the spray; wind playing havoc with the spray; spray contributing to evaporation; and plants not wanting spray splashing on them.

The installation of a fountain is relatively simple. The only pieces of equipment you will need are a small pond pump of approximately 170gph (sufficient for a small to medium pond), a fountain spray nozzle, and perhaps some plumbing supplies.

Black high-density polyethylene; double-wall construction; octagonal shape allows for maximum strength; pre-drilled hole in the bottom for easy plumbing access; grated doors on the top and on each side of the basin allow for multiple pump locations and easy pump access. Supports pumps from 250gph - 5000gph as long as the physical dimensions do not exceed the basin. Accent lighting may be added to accentuate the feature in the evening.
